- Action Sports: Tony Hawk, Andy McDonald, and Bike Sherlock: all action athletes and all San Diegans- just another reason to visit San Diego’s Hall of Champions! In this exhibit, you’ll see loads of memorabilia from the genre of extreme sports, including the skateboard used by Mr. Hawk when he landed his first professional “900”.
- Baseball: This exhibit pays tribute to San Diego as one of the nation’s great baseball cities, going back as far as the 1800s and featuring items used and made famous by legends Ted Williams, Tony Gwynn, Don Larsen, the Boone Family, as well as other San Diegan baseball heroes.
- Tribute to Jeremy Lusk: This exhibit pays tribute to the life and career of a hero from the world of motocross, who tragically passed away in 2009 following an automobile accident. His bike and full gear are on display here.
- Origins of Surfing in San Diego: Surf lovers are in the right place here, and can scope items that build a timeline of the history of Southern California surfing, while paying tribute to some of the area’s great wave-riders, including Bob Simmons, Carl Ekstrom, Larry Gordon, Don Hansen, and Tim Bessell.

The museum is located on the south end of Balboa Park in the historical Federal Building. Neighboring the Air and Space Museum and the Municipal Gym, the Hall of Champions is located just off President's Way and Park Blvd.
