The fully-narrated Liberty Ride is the best way to visit Lexington and Concord and learn about all of the historic sites.

Ride along Battle Road while your costumed guide recounts the exciting events of April 19, 1775, and the some of the most important figures that defined American identity and culture.


Seasonal April - May: Weekends only, departing at 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, and 2:30pm.
Memorial Day through the last Sunday in October:: Daily, departing at 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, and 2:30pm.

Getting In

Reservations are recommended and can be made online by visiting Click on 'Buy Tickets' to select your desired tour time and the number of Go Boston pass holders for the reservation. Liberty Ride may require a valid credit card number to hold your reservation, and will only charge if you are a no-show. Your Go Boston pass must be valid on the day of the tour.

Walk up tickets are available on a first come, first served basis only. Present your pass at The Temporary Lexington Visitors Center at 1605 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington. Be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to tour departure to ensure adequate boarding time.


This is not a hop-on hop-off trolley. Guest remain on the trolley for the duration of the trip.

Driving Directions

Take I-95 (Route 128) to exit 30A. Travel on Route 2A (Marrett Road) turn left at Massachusetts Ave. Continue through light at Waltham St. Take first right at Depot Square and proceed straight back to park in attended lot.

Public Transportation

Take the T: Red Line to Alewife stop. Then board bus 62 or 76 to Depot Square/Lexington Stop. These buses do not run on Sundays or holidays. On those days you may take a taxi from Alewife station or visit the MBTA website for connecting instructions.
