At the JFK Library, immerse yourself in an interactive timeline of his transformative presidency. Glimpse rare family photos and watch video clips of press interviews. The myriad of artifacts and exhibits beautifully illuminate his world.

Housed in a striking building designed by I. M. Pei, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum (JFK Library) sits on a 10-acre waterfront site on Columbia Point, offering panoramic views of Boston's skyline and Harbor Islands. Twenty-five multimedia exhibits and period settings from the White House offer an exciting experience and create a stirring account of President Kennedy's days in office.


Daily, 9:00 am-5:00 pm


Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. The JFK Library and Museum closes at 2:00 pm on the following days: the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, , Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve. All holiday hours are subject to change without notice.

Driving Directions

I-93 North to Exit 14 (Morrissey Blvd.), then follow the signs to UMass & JFK. I-93 South to Exit 15 (Columbia Rd.) to Morrissey Blvd., then follow the signs to UMass & JFK. Free parking.

Public Transportation

Take the T: Red Line to the JFK/UMASS stop. Take the JFK shuttle bus to the museum, which runs every 20 minutes
